Matisse – Legacy of line and color
Henri Matisse's works from the Jazz Series, Themes and Variations Series, and Cut Outs Series are on view at the jer ne lounge at the Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey.
Life and work of Pablo Picasso
selection of prints spanning the artist's career Summer 2011 Contemporaneous to the de Young Museum's "Picasso: Masterpieces from the the Musée National Picasso, Paris," Linearis Institute's exhibition will feature rare lithographs, etchings, linocuts, monotypes and experimental prints done using a hybrid of media such as photo-lithography, collotype, zinc plates, photoengraving and woodblock printing, from various points of Picasso's career.
V Foundation Wine Celebration
Linearis Institute will host charity silent art auctions at the V Foundation's 13th annual wine celebration. The Wince Celebration will be held at the Vintage Estates in Napa, and proceeds will benefit cancer research.
